About this video: This video is our in-depth guide on how to join a SkyBlock server, and then, how to play on that SkyBlock server with your friends in Minecraft. The first thing we do is go over the Minecraft SkyBlock server IP. While there are thousands of different SkyBlock servers in Minecraft, today, we are going to be showing you our server, BreakdownCraft SkyBlock. Thus, let's go ahead and jump right on into how you can join a Minecraft SkyBlock server and start playing on it!
The first step of playing SkyBlock with your friends is actually joining a SkyBlock server. We are going to be joining our own SkyBlock server in this video. You can join it too! To do this, go to the multiplayer screen in Minecraft. Then, click ‘Add Server’ at the bottom of Minecraft.
For server name, enter ‘BreakdownCraft’ or the name of the Minecraft server you are joining. For ‘Server Address’, this is going to be the IP of the SkyBlock server you are joining. There are tons of SkyBlock servers out there, and you can find our list of the 5 best Minecraft SkyBlock servers in the description above. If you are joining BreakdownCraft SkyBlock, enter ‘Play.BreakdownCraft.com’. Every SkyBlock IP address is different though, so make sure you have the correct one for the server you want to join. Finally, click ‘Add Server’.
After you add your SkyBlock server to Minecraft, you can finally join the SkyBlock server in Minecraft. By the way, your friends will add the SkyBlock server the same way that you just did. To join the SkyBlock server, just double click on it in the server list.
From here, every single SkyBlock server is different. On BreakdownCraft though, you will join our server lobby. You will see a ‘SkyBlock’ NPC here. Left click on this on this NPC be taken to BreakdownCraft SkyBlock.
Once you are in our SkyBlock Minecraft server, you will see another NPC in front of you. Left click on this NPC and left click again to start the quest. This quest will walk you through the basics of SkyBlock and help you start playing SkyBlock with your friends. There is also a /help menu if you have questions or issues. Lastly, /is menu is the command to see all of the information about SkyBlock including island members, settings, etc.
