About this video: This video is our complete guide to how you can download and install Litematica in Minecraft 1.16.5. What is the Litematica mod? Well, it is a schematics mod for Minecraft 1.16.5. It is actually very similar to the Schematic mod which is no longer updated. Thus, we are also showing you how to install the Schematic Mod in Minecraft 1.16.5 as Litematica and Schematic are very similar.
What Litematica let's you do though is create, add, and build things in Minecraft 1.16.5 from schematic files. For example, if you want move a build from one world to another, you can use schematics and Litematica to do that. Nevertheless, here is how to download and install Schematica 1.16.5 in Minecraft.
The first step of getting Litematica 1.16.5 is downloading and installing the Fabric Mod Loader. You can find the download link for Fabric in the description above. Go there and download it. After that, open the file you downloaded with Java, select version 1.16.5, and install it. If you do have any issues more are covered in the video.
Once you have Fabric 1.16.5 though, we can move on to finally downloading Litematica. You can find the Litematica download link in the description above. When you click that, it will actually take you to our text tutorial for getting Litematica. There, scroll down and click the yellow ‘Download Litematica’ button. That will take you to the official Litematica download page. Look at the right-hand side of this page and scroll down until you see the ‘Minecraft 1.16’ section. Click the orange ‘Download’ button to the right of the version you want to do download. When you do that, Litematica will begin downloading after just a few seconds.
You need to repeat the above process with the MaLiLib mod as well. MaLiLib is required to run Schematica 1.16.5. Again, you can find it in the description above, and the download process is the exact same as Litematica 1.16.5.
After you have downloaded Litematica/Schematica and MaLiLib, it is time to get Shematica installed in Minecraft 1.16.5. To do this, press the windows key on your keyboard and ‘R’ at the exact same time. This will open up the Run application. In the text box in this app, type ‘%appdata%’, and hit enter. This will open up your Roaming folder. In your roaming folder, you will have a .minecraft folder. Open that, and you should have a mods folder. If you don’t have a mods folder, create one!
Now that you have a mods folder, open it up. All you need to do to install Litematica in Minecraft 1.16.5 is drag-and-drop both Litematica and MaLiLib into this mods folder. Yep! It is that easy to download and install Schematica 1.16.5 in Minecraft!
You aren’t complete done just yet though. You still need to open up the Minecraft launcher, click the little arrow next to the play button, select ‘Fabric’, and click Play. When you do this, Minecraft 1.16.5 will open up with Schematica installed!
