First things first though, I want to mention that this Minecraft Spigot server is just for your friends and family. It is not meant to be a public server. This is because it is hosted on your own IP address. Anyone with the IP of this server, can find out where you live, DDOS your internet and take it offline, and much, much more. That's why it is important to just give this server to people you trust. If you want a public Spigot server, you need to get a server from somewhere like Apex Minecraft Hosting. They host the server on their own DDOS protected hardware meaning you aren't going to have to worry about who gets the IP. The server is meant to be public.
Nevertheless, if you are okay with hosting your 1.14 Spigot server for just you and your friends, let's go ahead and get it started. The first thing you need to do is download the Spigot server software. You can find the Spigot 1.14 download in the description above. After you have the file downloaded, you need to create a folder on your desktop and drag the download into it.
Now, it is time to install Spigot on your server! Do this by creating a new text document in your folder. Then, copy the code for the amount of RAM you want on your server in the description above. Then, save this file as a 'run.bat' file. Make sure you select 'save type as' 'all files'. Otherwise, your 1.14 Spigot server will not work.
Now, double click on this 'run.bat' file you created. The server will start up, and then stop. You will now an 'EULA' file. Open that, and if you agree to the EULA link there, change 'EULA=false' to 'EULA=true'. Then, save the file and double click on the run.bat file again. Your sever will now start up. At this point, you have made a Minecraft 1.14 Spigot server!

After you have port forwarded, get your public IP, and join your newly created Spigot server in Minecraft 1.14!
