How to Mute your Microphone on PS5 with Settings & Button (Best Method)

Method 1: The Mute Button (Quickest Method)
The PS5 DualSense controller has a dedicated button for muting the microphone, making it the fastest way to turn your mic on or off.
Locate the Mute Button: Find the small, horizontal button located directly below the PlayStation (PS) button in the center of the controller.
Press the Button: A single press of this button will mute the microphone. The button will glow with an orange light, and a small muted microphone icon will appear on your screen to confirm.
