If you are experiencing issues with your DualSense Edge controller, such as unresponsive buttons, connectivity problems, or incorrect profile settings, performing a reset can often resolve the issue. There are two main methods to reset the controller, and both are highly effective.

Method 1: The Factory Reset (In-Console Settings)
This is the most thorough method as it will delete all custom profiles and reset the controller to its out-of-the-box factory settings. This is the best method if you are experiencing persistent software glitches.

From the PS5 home screen, go to Settings (the gear icon in the top-right corner).

Select Accessories.
Go to DualSense Edge Wireless Controller.
Select Reset Your DualSense Edge Wireless Controller.

A message will appear stating that all profiles and settings on the controller will be deleted. (Note: Profiles saved on your PS5 console will not be deleted).

Select Reset to confirm.
