How to Change the Language on PS5 back to ENGLIH (Best Method)
If you've accidentally changed the language on your PlayStation 5 and need to switch it back to English, the process is straightforward, even if you can't read the current language.
The Best Method: Follow the Icons and Position
This method relies on the consistent layout of the PS5 menu, so you can navigate by sight and memory.
Open Settings: From the PS5 home screen, press up on your controller's directional pad to get to the top menu, then scroll all the way to the right. The last icon on the right is the gear icon, which represents "Settings." Press the X button to select it.
Navigate to System: The Settings menu will open. Look for the "System" icon, which looks like a cube. It's usually the fourth or fifth option down in the left-hand column. Press X on this option.
Find Language Settings: In the new menu on the left, you'll see several options. The "Language" option is usually the fourth one from the top. Select it with the X button.
Change Console Language: You will now see two options on the right side of the screen. The top option is "Console Language." Select this with the X button.
Select English: A list of all available languages will appear. Scroll through the list and find "English (United Kingdom)" or "English (United States)". The languages are typically listed in a logical order, often alphabetically in their native script, so you can look for the Latin characters of "English." Press X to select it.
