The most efficient way to create a profile is directly on your PS5 console, as it provides a comprehensive menu for all the settings you can adjust.
From the home screen, go to Settings (the gear icon in the top-right corner).
Select Accessories.
Choose DualSense Edge Wireless Controller.
Select Custom Profiles.
Select Create Custom Profile.
Give your new profile a name (e.g., "FPS," "Racing," or the specific game name).
Select the button you want to assign this profile to. The DualSense Edge has three customizable profile slots assigned to the Circle, Cross (X), and Square buttons. The Triangle button is reserved for the default profile.
Now you can customize the profile:
Button Assignments: Remap any button on the controller, including the back paddles, to any other function. This is great for assigning actions like jumping or reloading to the back paddles so you can keep your thumbs on the sticks.
