How to View PS5 Video Clips on PlayStation App on Phone (Capture Gallery)
To view your PS5 video clips on your phone using the PlayStation App, you need to enable the "Auto-Upload" feature on your console. This feature automatically uploads your clips to the cloud so you can access them from your mobile device.
Step 1: Enable Auto-Upload on Your PS5
This is a crucial first step, as the PlayStation App will not show your clips unless this setting is enabled.
On your PS5, go to Settings (the gear icon in the top-right corner).
Navigate to Captures and Broadcasts.
Select Captures, then turn on the Auto-Upload toggle.
Important Notes about Auto-Upload:
Only video clips that are less than 3 minutes long and not in 4K resolution will be automatically uploaded.
Your PS5 needs to be in Rest Mode with the "Stay Connected to the Internet" setting enabled for the auto-upload to work.
Your captures will be available on the app for 14 days after they are created.
Step 2: View Your Clips on the PlayStation App
Open the PlayStation App on your phone and sign in with the same PSN account.
From the home screen, tap the Game Library icon (it looks like a controller) at the bottom.
Select the Captures tab at the top.
You will see all your screenshots and supported video clips. Tap on a video to view it.
From here, you can download the clip to your phone's photo gallery or share it to social media, messaging apps, or with other PlayStation friends.
