To reset your Amazon Fire Stick remote, the process depends slightly on the type of remote you have, but here’s a general method that works for most models, including the Alexa Voice Remote and standard Fire TV remotes. Follow these steps:
Unplug your Fire Stick: Disconnect your Fire TV device from its power source and HDMI input. Wait for 60 seconds to ensure it fully powers down.

Press and Hold Buttons: On your remote, press and hold the Left button (part of the directional circle), the Menu button (three horizontal lines), and the Back button (arrow pointing left) at the same time. Hold them for 12 seconds.

Release and Wait: Let go of the buttons and wait 5 seconds.

Remove Batteries: Take the batteries out of the remote.

Plug in the Fire Stick: Reconnect your Fire TV to the power source and HDMI port. Wait until you see a message on the screen saying the remote can’t be detected (this might take another 60 seconds).

Reinsert Batteries: Put the batteries back into the remote.

Pair the Remote: Press and hold the Home button (the house icon) for about 10 seconds. If your remote has an LED indicator, it should blink blue when it successfully pairs. If it doesn’t pair, try holding the Home button again for another 10 seconds.
