Sociopathic behavior(s) in your parents (and family) can be one of the most difficult things to spot because we rarely suspect that parents (or our family) would have such traits.
In regards to parents, we often expect them to be supportive, loving, compassionate, understanding, and pure. But sadly, not all parents are this way. If this is your parent I'm sure you have been shocked at the behaviors and thought patterns your parent has entertained. I'm sure you have also been hurt emotionally and psychologically by their inability to be a good parent.
