To stop screen mirroring from your iPhone to a TV, follow these steps:

Open Control Center:
On iPhone X or later: Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen.
On iPhone 8 or earlier: Swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen.
Stop Screen Mirroring:

Look for the Screen Mirroring icon (two overlapping rectangles or a rectangle with a triangle at the bottom).

Tap the Screen Mirroring icon.
Tap Stop Mirroring or Stop AirPlay to disconnect from the TV.
Alternative Method (via Settings):

Go to Settings - General - AirPlay & Handoff (or AirPlay on older iOS versions).

Tap the name of the TV or device you’re mirroring to (e.g., “Living Room Apple TV”).

Select Stop Mirroring.

Verify Disconnection:

Your iPhone screen should no longer appear on the TV.
The Screen Mirroring icon in Control Center should show as inactive (not highlighted).
