Hudson Hawk (C64) Playthrough /Strange choice of license to make a game. It's ok, I guess....
Hudson Hawk (1991) by Special FX Software is An average platform game based on an average movie starring Bruce Willis. But what's mediocre or weak on 8-bit consoles usually comes out pretty well on 8-bit computers like the C64, and this time is no exception. I may not be an expert on the C64 library, but I believe from my experience that this is one of the more enjoyable platform games for the system. Pleasant to the eye, playable, extensive...... game makes a very positive impression in relation to many very basic productions released for the system, which are closer to games on the Atari 2600.In the game we play as Hawk a known thief who has served his time in prison, and after getting out of it begins to do again what he does best..... which is doing favors for not very pleasant blackmailing individuals. And he only dreamed of a Cappucino cup ..... getting back on topic. Our goal will be to “recover” various works of art in which Leonardo Da Vinci himself once hid pieces of the philosopher's stone...... sought by a degenerate marriage of eccentric rich people. The game is a racial platformer, without much innovation. But the levels and the obstacles placed on them are so varied that for a game that takes 20-30 minutes, it is impossible to get bored here. In general, Hudson Hawk is very easy, so it will be accessible to both laymen and experts, who want to finish the game as soon as possible. This title was released for many different systems such as Nes and Amiga.
, but the crown of the best version, however, goes to the C64 because it stands out from the library of this system. In the case of the Nesa and the Amiga is only a position at best average or weak as for versions an amstrad or Zx Spectrum it's hard for me to say something, but just from the video you can see that the amstrad got an unimaginable crap. A game worth playing at least once, and then you can forget and move on.
