Jay and Silent Bob Mall Brawl Arcade Edition (PC) CO-OP Playthrough / Snoogans... I guess.
Jay and Silent Bob Mall Brawl Arcade Edition (2020) by Interabang Entertainment and Spoony Bard Productions is a modern game kept in the style of retro 8-bit games. Jay And Silent Bob belongs to the beat'em up genre, modeled after two characters from the once iconic “Clerks” movie series. I'm not personally a fan, but the game seemed interesting so why not give it a try. Well, and after a screening with the game we conclude that it was OK. It is a title typically tailor-made for 8-bit consoles, and has the same to offer as one could expect from games of that era. We played through it once and are unlikely to return to it again. Don't get us wrong, the game is ok to play, but there is nothing here to encourage us to return to the world of Clerks. The graphics are stylized on games from the 8-bit Nesa, and if I had to compare it to something it would be Mighty Final Fight. The games are visually very similar to each other, and to some extent in gameplay as well. The music is also up to Nesa standards, and you have to admit that the songs created for this game are really catchy. As for the gameplay, it's really basic...... two buttons are responsible for leg and fist attacks and the third for jumping. We can run by pressing forward twice quickly. We can grab the enemy when he is beaten up enough .... He is then standing still, frozen, and all you have to do is walk up to him and press the attack button to make a deadly grab, which is not really as deadly as it should be. After properly mauling the opponent, we get stars. These are used as an extension of the basic combo with a final powerful blow that inflicts a lot of damage to everyone in its path. Depending on the character, Jay can only use it during a combo with his legs and Bob with his fists. I won't even mention the plot because it's just lousy XD . You can definitely play it, but if you do, I recommend only the digital version, because the physical version is simply not worth the price at the moment.
