Jurassic Park (Sms) Playthrough / When something goes wrong while playing God....
Jurassic Park (1993) by Sega is probably one of the best examples of a good film to video game adaptation. A game that is not talked about and generally few people associate this version at all.... which is a shame because its overall execution deserves a mention. In the game, we play as paleontologist Grant, played in the film by Sam Neil, excited by the fact that one filthy rich eccentric has managed to use the genetic code taken from a preserved insect to recreate long-extinct dinosaurs. Of course, in the fervor of euphoria, something goes wrong and the dinosaurs begin to move freely, threatening all Jurassic Park visitors. Our task is to capture all the dangerous individuals that escaped from the enclosures. The game is a mix of a platform game and partly a shooter on rails. Each mission begins with a car ride to the mission, which we have to cover, and these are the moments of a shooter on rails, and the rest are already platform levels. There are uniform levels where we simply go from left to right, but also more complicated mazes where we have to find our way to the target. And it all looks exceptionally good for an 8bit console..... you have to admit that Master System can surprise in this respect. But unfortunately, as always, sound is the weak point of this console, and frankly so far I have not found an exception to this rule. Overall, I highly recommend this game and believe that it is one of the best if not the best adaptation of this film for the 8-bit game market.
