Hyper Lode Runner is a neat early Game Boy title in the long-running Lode Runner series, which started in the early-mid 80s (around 1983 or so). Developed by Broderbund, it is a game in the trap-em-up genre where your goal is to collect all the gold on each level while trapping enemies in pits to obtain their gold, use as a stepping stone, or avoid being touched (which results in defeat). There are dozens of levels, and you can start on any of the first fifty by default. Successfully clearing a level results in a little fanfare where a ball sprays confetti and streamers while your hero looks triumphant. It's a challenging game for puzzle fans and Lode Runner fans alike. This is a brief video of the first level. Enjoy
