Immortal Darkness: Curse of the Pale King - PC - Intro & First Floor gameplay [4K60]
4Immortal Darkness is an action RPG, very much in the style of Blizzard's classic Diablo series. Developed by indie studio Giant Space Monster, this is a superb title fans of the genre will enjoy. You play Shade a cursed vampire hunter who seeks to end the reign of the pale king. Entering his dungeon you prepare for the final confrontation with him, but between you and him is a hoard of vampire minions, traps, bottomless pits, magic spells, secret doors, hidden passages and something else lurking in the dark depths of this dungeon.
This is very much a dungeon RPG and it remains us a bit of the old board game HeroQuest. The twist in the gameplay is Shade is slowly turning into a vampire and you have the option to use this power to steal the life force of defeated enemies. However, using this power raises your evil meter and should you max it, poor Shade will turn into a Vampire.
Not to fear however, as you explore the dungeon, you'll find plenty of potions, items and magic spells to help you in your quest. Loot is also randomised, so you will find different spells and items on each playthrough. There's also a friendly merchant, who sells an assortment of items including backpack and magic spell upgrades. If your looking for something to quench your Diablo thirst after finishing the series this if very much the perfect game for that.
