Indie First Impressions - Interstellar Invaders for PC - Retro arcade homage to Arkanoid [4K60]
2Interstellar Invaders is best described as a mash up of Space Invaders, Galaxian, Blockout, Arkanoid amd Missile Commander. It's a bat and ball game with invading aliens! With the look and feel of a classic arcade game. The game features two modes a tutorial mode to get you in the feel of the game and the main mode itself which is a rather tricky randomly generated campaign. Easy to master and hard to put down Interstellar Invaders starts quite easy, but quickly turns the difficulty up to both a challenging and rewarding level. The game also includes a two player for those who don't want to face off against the invading horde on their own.
While it might be a touch short for some and the game could do with a high score table system. It's a really good take on this classic genre.
