Indie First Impressions - Nogalious for PC - An 8 bit retro themed platformer [4K60]
Nogalious is a retro themed adventure game harking back to games like Wonder Boy in Monster Land and Dizzy. Part of a planned trilogy the game's design, music and graphics has been lovingly done so that it looks and sounds like it was made in the late 80s and early 90s.
The story follows Nogalious on his quest to rescue his kidnapped daughter from the evil Darama. Gameplay is a mixture of platforming, combat and puzzles, with you having to adventure through five different level. Much like games of old it has a limited credit system and once you lose your last life it's back to the start of the game to try again.
Riven has a look at the pros and cons of Nogalious, giving his feedback on the title.
