Inertial Drift is a really fun racing game with an innovative twin-stick control system and a roster of cars that all ‘feel’ different to drive.
The Coda Chrono- driven by Vivian- is my favourite car in the game, so I took it for a spin in a Time Trial. And then I sat there for a while so I could listen to more of the song. ;)
The basic rule with this game (as with most racing games) is that you lose less speed if you maintain a straighter trajectory. I think that would explain some of the overtakes in the 2nd and 3rd laps.
Vivian’s theory about drift racing is ‘If you go fast enough, the walls are more afraid of you than you are of them’. I’m not sure if that’s how it works, but I sure did put that theory to the test!
