I wanted to give a quick demonstration of the easiest route to grabbing the Bone Lord's Femur, as the 3 Bones it gives you to start every battle completely changes the difficulty level of a Deathly Deck run. While I was at it, I went ahead and demonstrated how to get the necessary Bone Heap / Necromancer / Tomb Robber cards to establish the infinite Bone loop setup the hard way, in case you don't get any lucky early drops from chests. Since that's my goal, I ignore all of the cards I get from the Card Packs from enemy kills, since those aren't guaranteed.

First I run and grab the Clover. If you're just starting Act 2 for the first time, the Clover won't appear until you build your first complete 20 card deck. This is a weird prerequisite, but I guess it's just a way to try to make people miss it early on and find it later.

Next I run to fight Kaycee. I need to get at least 4 Foils off of my first kill so I can buy my first Bone Heap, which will allow for easily farming more Foils. Kaycee is probably the easiest minion in the game, just chump block her Revenants until she's out of cards, then start building as much damage output as you can. I knock the scales down to one health from victory, then use Frank and Stein to overkill as much as I can with the starter deck.

Next I head over to the Prospector, who's probably the game's next easiest enemy (or at least, the easiest one I have access to at the start). Similar to the Kaycee strategy, I just want to burn through all of his cards and then spend my remaining turns building as many Bones as I can, but this time I pump them all into the Bone Heap for a much bigger overkill. Except I use an early Zombie to lure the Bloodhound in behind the Squirrel and leave him there so he's not a nuisance. This gets me up to 22 Foils, enough to purchase a full Bone loop set, and both Broken Obols.

With the Obols and Bone loop ingredients in my deck I head to fight Sawyer. I need to clear him out of the way to reach the Bone Lord's tomb anyway. At 8:57 I spend my available resources to get a Bone loop going. I do this a weird way because I'm trying to figure out how to manipulate the Bone Hound's positioning... but ultimately it doesn't work out and I give up. As soon as the round starts I have all of the things needs for a Bone loop: a Tomb Robber and Necromancer in hand, and 4 Bones. I also already have my Bone Heap on the board which is a bonus and means I can go right into cashing out with heavy damage. I could have played the second Necromancer on the far right to increase the speed of the Bone loop, but I wanted to demonstrate the simplest scenario for those unfamiliar with the technique.

At 11:13 I get the two Broken Obols into my hand so I can receive my Ancient Obol. With the purchases I make after this battle, I would have 3 Bone Heaps, Necromancers, and Tomb Robbers gained solely from the shop. I find that's about the optimal balance for playing the rest of the run with this strategy. Finally, I head to visit Royal real quick just to demonstrate what the Bone Lord's Femur does.

With the Bone Lord's Femur, Bone Lord's Horn, and infinite Bone loop trifecta in hand, you have a truly broken deck to bulldoze the rest of Act 2. Enjoy the suffering of the Scrybes.
