Inscryption - Playing Act 2 as P03 pt1. Dispatching Leshy
I start off once again by collecting the game's freely available chests and get an Energy Bot to start the run with, which is decent enough. Then I use a couple of L33pB0ts against the Prospector to keep his Bloodhound distracted while I chip away at him for an easy victory.
The Prospector rewards me with a Sentry Drone, one of my favorite units. It's cheap enough to be played on turn 1 and hard counters a few specific enemies on incoming, like Coyotes, Draugrs, Ghost Ships, Mox cards, or Ruby Golems. It's a good card in Act 3, but it's borderline broken in Act 2, especially with the Clover giving you double chances to draw it.
The Angler can be a bit tougher, but not much. You just need to keep playing cheap cards to deal 1 damage or more a turn, and focus on chump blocking the Salmon at all times. I get a really favorable draw here and avoid any expensive cards, so I take him down quickly.
I don't normally like the Sprinter sigil, but with the cheap 49er cards it's highly effective against the Trapper. They can deal 1 damage to the Burrowing Trap, then slide over to chump block something else. This reduces incoming damage substantially and allows you to weather the first few turns easier than other decks. By the time I get to turn 5, I've only taken 2 damage and the Burrowing Trap is down to 1 Health, and I've still got two attackers on the board. Once you reach turn 5 with a Techno Deck, you've unlocked access to nearly all of your best cards, or multiple decent cards per turn. The Raven is still a bit of a nuisance when he comes in (although L33pB0ts can actually block him, if you have any left), but with the Burrowing Trap gone it's manageable. All in all, this is just a really good setup for this fight, almost as good as the Beastly Deck.
The first couple of turns of the Leshy fight go a little strange because I'm trying to set up for decent Death Cards. This works out well, and I essentially get the equivalent of 4 Gecks (sorta... Energy Bots supply their cell before their cost, so you always lose the first Energy). It winds up being a moot point, as I win the fight before they get to do anything.
