Once again this is an area that Sentry Bots really mess with. For the Slime Mage I take out his first Mox immediately. His AI seems to be smart enough to avoid this happening again, so he puts his second Mox on another panel... but that just prevents him from having any offense and allows me to get all of my cards into my hand for whatever I want to try. Overall this fight is always pretty easy, but it never gets easier than this. I actually mess up my plan to kill the second Mox (and honestly I should have just left it up there and ignored it), and it still doesn't matter.

The Impaled Mage starts out similarly well, using a Sentry Drone to take out her Mox and instantly killing the Mage Knight. I use my second to counter the incoming Ruby Golem, which also works amazingly well since it kills both the Golem and the Ruby Mox he drops after. The fact that I get a third Sentry Drone before the next Ruby Golem is just gratuitous.

Something mildly interesting happens with the Lonely Mage. Even though I lay the Sentry Drone and instantly kill his Sapphire Mox, the Gem Fiend still gets an attack off. I think this has to do with the fact that the Gem Fiend is left of the Mox, while the previous Mage Knight was to the right of it, so when the card runs its "is there a Mox on the board?" calculation happens at a different time. Regardless, I take 3 damage on turn 1. I probably should have let the Sentry Drone catch the Gem Fiend instead, then used my 49ers to kill the Mox. Either way, this is still a super easy win on what can be one of the game's trickier fights.

I could have redone my deck for Magnificus, especially as he's the last fight in the game for this run. I chose not to just to demonstrate further how powerful the Techno Deck and Energy system is. Things are a little tough the first couple of turns, but once I get up to having 6 Energy it becomes a cakewalk, even while ignoring his Magnus Mox.

A better deck composition would have been all L33pB0ts (to survive the first two turns), 49ers, Explode Bots, and as many Curve Hoppers as you can get your hands on. Those cards have the best stats per Energy. Curve Hopper specifically is busted in this fight, and can be played on the same turn as any of the other three once you reach 6 Energy. Don't forget they're sold at the Techno shop! (see my shop guide for reference here: https://youtu.be/UmGHYSWX6GA)
