PREVIOUSLY:
Back in Ratayu, the Mist is now gone, and the people are back to their daily living. While resting in the town inn, Vahn and the others meet a girl named Eliza wearing a bridal dress. She reveals that it is a tradition in Ratayu that young girls are presented to the castle to be Seru brides, and Eliza happens to be next in line. Upon hearing her story, Noa volunteers to take her place, telling them not to worry since she has Terra with her, to which Vahn reluctantly agrees. Noa then wears the dress from Eliza before getting escorted by the castle guards.

Noa's escorts take her to a laboratory inside the castle and leaves her. There she witnesses another Seru bride, getting her life force drained by a gigantic Seru called Juggernaut. As she attempts to escape, Saryu enters the room, and his two guards take her down.

Terra sends out a distress signal to Meta, informing them the dangers Noa is facing. They barge in the laboratory and rescues Noa in the nick of time. As punishment for their defiance, Saryu transforms into a monster and battles against the trio. Vahn and the others manage to come out on top, and a Sim-Seru appears from Saryu's body before it disintegrates in the air.

Saryu apologizes for the troubles he had caused, and thanks the heroes for saving the whole city. He gives them a key that allows them access to Dohati's Castle and to destroy the Mist Generator that has been traumatizing the Sebucus Islands for a long time.
