PREVIOUSLY:
Back in Biron Monastery, the fans at the entrances are completely destroyed, allowing the Mist to freely flow inside. While surveying the situation inside, Noa sees Maya possessed by a Seru. She attempts to pull off the Seru attached to Maya, but is immediately stopped by Terra, telling her that if she forcibly takes off the Seru, Maya will die, revealing that the only way to save her is by eliminating the Mist.

Inside a secured room lies Master Zopu, along with the remaining survivors. According to the Biron leader, with a mysterious Seru on his arm, Songi lead a pack of Seru monsters and launched a surprise attack against the Birons. The heroes vow to track down Songi for his actions, leading them to East Voz Forest.

At the end of the forest resides a Genesis Tree, in a much healthier state compared to its western counterpart. But before they could approach the tree, Songi appears out of nowhere, with a Seru bearing Ra-Seru-like features attached to his arm. Gala charges at Songi, but is easily overpowered. Songi declares his superiority against Gala, deciding that they are not worth exerting himself on, and summons two of his Seru henchmen to deal with them.

Vahn, Noa and Gala barely defeats the Seru monsters. Seeing Gala having a hard time keeping up, Songi expresses disgust on his fellow Biron warrior. He leaves the trio after warning them of a darker future ahead of them.

Focused on clearing the Monastery of its Mist, Vahn and Noa use their Ra-Seru powers to revive the Genesis Tree. The Ra-Seru Egg from West Voz Forest reacts to the tree's powers and hatches, revealing a new Ra-Seru named Ozma. Recognizing Gala as its new master, Ozma approaches the former Master Teacher, entrusting him its powers in the fight against the corrupting powers of the Mist.
