Geez, it's been a while huh? Now, the full version is announced to come out "this winter" (though I'm pessimistic about it and think it'll come out in April/March) - and Len'en fans can finally rejoice since we can eat actual lore now. Back Issues themselves are sort of "beginner" chapter since BotC is meant to attract new players to Len'en - but I overall say that it's better to play danmaku games first as... BotC doesn't do justice to backgrounds and additional tidbits (such as Kuroji and Clause being midbosses) as nearly as much as I hoped for. But for complete beginner it's a fine experience, there are even tidbits that aren't present in mainline games (such as the reveal of "Curtain of Awakening")

Also I really like the direction that NiLU's chharacter has - they aren't just a "serious protagonist", they're more like a small child trying to have a grasp on the world (while also being amnesiac) and has shown to be irritated at Tom's spoiler-hating antics. They also have no understanding of jokes and certain emotions - fitting for monochroid. I'm really looking forward to seeing them more as their design is just chef's kiss. And Tom's pretty cute too, albeit noisy
