Hey, what's up guys? Welcome back to "Binging with Hooaka", and in this today's episode we're taking a look at Fried Kurohebi from "Brilliant Pagoda or Haze Castle"

There was a video that has been rotting in my basement for quite a while, and it's for the dumbest reason you'll ever hear for a massive video delay in history... I couldn't create a damn thumbnail for this garbo. Looking at that video now, I could've optimised so-so much better - maybe I was at an off mood that day. So I rematched it. Honestly, I'm surprised at how big of an impact "Trailblazer [DEF]+2" was having - don't be like me non-gamers, never trade "Trailblazer [DEF]+2" for whatever the fuck (though in my case it was an accident)

So, Tough Kurohebi, huh? The first end-game content we've ever received. When I finally beat it on easy I thought how challenging it was... Boy was I naive back then (to be fair, I didn't have every S rank units in the game). Overall, revisiting this whole stage, it still manages to hold its own ground. It's a boss fight with minions, but unlike minions in "Tough Aoji" and "Christmass Frontlines" (sans X-Ghosts) who were minor inconveniences - these assholes have higher priority and damage than the boss of this stage. But at first, let's have a rundown of my team

The team I used:
Tsubrubami (Rearguard) - Your Reliable Support
Fake Tsubakura (Rearguard-ish) - Crowd Control
Hooaka (Middleguard) - Sub-DPS ironically, but also a solid healer
Aoji (Middleguard) - Nuke
Kurohebi (Vanguard) - Main DPS. Has to have "Crimson Lotus Sword" to work
Rei-kun (Vanguard) - Main DPS №2. Has to have "Crimson Lotus Sword" to work
Reccomendations:
Tenkai - Defense buffer, though their slow speed makes them wonky to use
X-Ghost - Healer/Buffer, quite good for this stage honestly

Now onto strategy. Shooter Fairy and Magic Fairy will be banes of your run - you should take them out immediately. Shooter Fairy has Thunder Shot which hits a lot harder than it supposed to be, while Magic Fairy will drop "Аптечка" onto your weakest character, so this stage goes to "Stages where Kuroji is a complete sack of shit" list. Other fairies are also quite annoying, so you should also get rid of them ASAP. As for Kurohebi? Well, they're completely straightforward. They'll use "Slit Snake" to deal big damage to those who are weak to Green element and "Blind Shot" to clap those who are weak to Black elememt. They'll occasionally use Posion Gas to poison your units and even then if they're clumped together. Honestly, this stage overall is pretty straightforward: No position maneuvres like in "Tough pre-EE", No movement maneuvres like in "Christmas Frontlines" - literally Kurohebi and their annoying minions
So here are the things you should keep in mind:
- Kill those fairies
- Refrain from using charged moves on Hooaka, Rei and Kurohebi
- Never use Kuroji, they're that horrendous
- Have your skills at around 70-100 level depending on units' role
- Don't forget about flashbombs

Also did you know that people ACTUALLY eat crows? Those who are in the wild specifically...
Also, another fact: Crows can speak human language if they're expossed to human speech long enough
