Yanno? Even if Clause gets the "Clause" treatment even after (supposedly) winning the popularity poll - they're in theory could be a busted unit. Not only do they have one of the best inherent traits (that reduces the cast time of Water/Ice and Trick spells by 1), but also inflict currently one of the nastiest debuffs in-game - Freeze (which makes unit lose a turn). Heck, even JynX acknowledged how broken Santa is due to their synergy with Aoji's spells... before mocking us because Aoji's spells happen to be massive MP burners and Clause having low base S.ATK.

So I decided to test this whole thing. Getting Aoji's DISCs for extraction was the hardest part due to the nature of the game, and even with my units fully upgraded, S DISCs are a bitch to farm - so it was a long while until I could use the darn thing. But after finally extracting the spell (Current Wave) - it's genuienly scary how well it works, not only that, but it looks hella badass as well considering how pretty Aoji's spells are. After upgrading the spell and their bomb, I was good to go

I decided to try "Memory of [Fire/Flame]" given how every enemy has a water and freeze weaknesses and farm stages are overall pretty easy (which is an approach I personally like *cough* Loss Word *cough),* but I was suprised that Clause can farm even on UNREAL - which is pretty cool.

The strategy is self-explanatory really. While I could No-Bomb this stage - it already takes 11 turns to beat this stage.

Also, is it me, or the 30% base chance of inflicting freeze might be a reference to pokemon (in the japanese RG release, Blizzard has 30% chance to inflict freeze)? Same with Karate Kick being a Null type since in Gen 1 (again) Karate Chop was a Normal type move (though it could be explained by BotC not having fighting type at all)
