Lenna's Inception (Jan 2020, STEAM Gameplay 2020)
1Lenna's Inception is an Action Adventure RPG, in the same veins as Legend of Zelda games. the game was created by Bytten Studio and released to the public on January 17th, 2020.
As previously stated, this game is so much like Legend of Zelda in every way, but it jokes about and pokes fun at the genre. The game controls are easy and the menu system is easy to navigate. The addition of pets is great, these can help you kill things in dungeons and the world map and cost very little to acquire.
The music is nice and the sound effects are very reminiscent of the early Game Boy Zelda games. As with MOST games like this it takes a short time to get used to the sword striking length for bosses, (like how many times did I die?), and monsters.
You have the usual Zelda-Esque type dungeons, bombable walls, traps, hidden items, dungeon map, etc.. all nicely layed out for ease of use, even weapons such as a Whip that has mutli-functional uses.
The game has multiple game features you can choose to play, even multiplay, each that come with their own set of challenges, which is fantastic. The most shocking thing of all to me was the choice of playing the game in two different styles also.
So what did I think of this game? I LOVED it, i'm a fan of pixel old school games, such as the ones from NES/SNES/GBC so I slipped right into enjying this one, a 9/10 for me, only because I think the bat pet I think kept getting stuck so it still has very minor issues to sort out.
