Zwei The Ilvard Insurrection (known in Japan as Zwei II) was released in 2008 by Nihon Falcom and later released in English for STEAM in 2017, hard top believe it was released that early because the game has aged so well.

I have to say this right now... If early Square-Enix made a Grandia game.. THIS would be it.. SO MUCH DIALOGUE !!! This game reminds me of a mix between Brave Fencer Musashi and the Grandia games. This game is just fantastic even if it DO have way too much dialogue in it so to build the world and the story.

For a game made in 2008 the graphics look like its made today and the music is fun also. All the cutscenes look great and the voice overs and sound snippets of grunts, groans, and other single words are all clear and easily understood today. The fast switching between your two characters is easy, both easy to control even if it do seem to turn into a bullet-hell game with the girl if you hold down her attack button, LOL!

This game truly is a classic, if you haven't played it yet I really recommend you do, especially if you're a fan of all the early Nihon Falcom games. If you want to try this game out then you can find it here... https://store.steampowered.com/app/427700/Zwei_The_Ilvard_Insurrection/
