Space Channel 5: Part 2 was released in Japan in 2002 on the Dreamcast and Playstation 2. It was developed by United Game Artists and published by Sega, the PS2 version released worldwide in 2003 by SCEE and Agetec. The STEAM version was also released by Sega.

This game is just all kinds of fun, it brings a whole new dimension compared to the first game. This game has been slated as too hard and for good reason, sometimes you can't quite make out what action to do because of poor quality in sound.

Compared to the first game THIS one adds in new elements to the dance movements and key pressing, like strumming guitar string, to timing button presses to singing characters, and even huge bosses to defeat.

As you can see in the video, timing is everything, mess it up once by pressing the wrong action and it can all go down the pan faster than a gas fueled supernova explosion, it can certainly be very challenging on times. It takes a while to get used to how the game's controls work and getting the timing down.

Graphically the game itself looks great with the STEAM release but it's a shame they didn't redo all the FMV videos, those have not aged well at all. The music in the game is as funky as I remember it being in the 1st game and it seems Ulala has picked up even more dance moves, nice!

SO! Have you tried this game? What did you think? Let me know in the Comments below.
