Building large scale application is more difficult than many people understand or expect. Join me in this long running series where I set out to duplicate one of the most popular social media platforms ever creating using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, PostgreSQL data, React JS web application framework and more.

In this episode we pick up where we left off in the previous one working on the CreateListUserSelector component. In the previous episode we simply setup the HTML structure of the component, and in this episode we come back through and setup the logic to fetch suggested users as well as search for specific users in the search bar. After we are happy with the results of configuring the CreateListUserSelector logic, we create a new component to display the search results nicely called the CreateListUserCard, after setting up the basic component we styled it, and added it to the CreateListUserSelector component and tested to be sure everything was working properly.
