It took me 2 years, but I finally got around to playing Gazillionaire!

Gazillionaire is space capitalism at its most cartoonish. You pick a goofy ship, get your crew, start on a planet and get to trading. The main thrust of the game is to buy low on goods, fly to another planet and sell high! You are pitted against 6 other companies in a bid to be the most profitable in the system.

The game has special events and planetary specials you can try for every time you visit. You can also shuttle passengers, buy passive income buildings, invest in the stock market, take loans, and more.

There are random events that can derail your venture, if you don’t invest in insurance and sometimes the AI just jumps ahead with zero explanation. It’s not a perfect game, but god if it isn’t charming in it’s goofiness.
