Let's Try: Little Comet and Silicon Zeroes

Little Comet is legitimately one of the nicest puzzle games I've ever played. It's adorable, it sounds great, it plays fantastically. What's more, the mechanics are introduced well, and the game's scoring system doesn't suck! Each level has you, an adorable comet, trying to get to a black hole by way of sort of golfing. Along the way you can pick up items, and there is a shot par system. The best thing about all of these is that they are all independent goals on each level! You can play through it and just get to the end. Then play it again to collect the items, even if it takes you 50 shots. Then you can play once more to get the par goal. It's so... refreshing. I highly recommend taking some time with Little Comet.
Have you ever wanted to understand the fundamentals of computer engineering? Ever wondered how the circuit boards in your devices work on a real basic level? Well good news: Silicon Zeroes is the edutainment game you've been looking for! This game presents an ever more complex series of tasks that you have to solve with a very basic set of tools. These tools, such as adders, subtractors, read/write modules, etc. have to be combined in a whole slew of creative ways in order to solve the tasks presented. It's legitimately good for getting an understanding of how computers work at a real base level. It will also probably make you feel like a complete dullard... though maybe that was juts me. A very interesting game, even though it is tricking you into learning things.
