Let’s Play Edna & Harvey: The Breakout #16: Not-so-Spooky Basement Time
157When we got a view of the entire asylum, I bet I know what the first thing that came to your mind and you’re right: This place does has a basement level, though it’s not as sinister and spooky as you probably thought it would be. It’s certainly a recent addition to the building, for I doubt its original inhabitants had much use for an area below ground and it contains many of the rooms you’d expect to be out of the way.
Most people would think of such places as humdrum and without significance, but Edna and I both know better, as does anyone who has experience with point and click adventure games. Even in the most unassuming of places there are items to find and puzzles to solve, or at the very least get hints for so we can solve them later. Nothing can be overlooked lest we miss a vital clue, something I’ve been guilty of doing more than once in my time when playing games. Who knows, we might finally find the use for the paper cup down there.
