Let's Play Starward Rogue - #25: Rex on Extended Normal (2/4)
1In this part, I continue to use the the Rex Mech through floors 4 through 6 on the Extended Normal mode.

While I continue to pile up on the perks and upgrades, I get unlucky in Floor 6. The combination of the Condemned Chamber and an unfortunate encounter with the Bubble enemy.really did a number on my mech. Thankfully, I got an extra shield point, and I also have the Second Chance perk. So, if I do die, I'll at least have a second shot.
To be fair, that's to be expected of Starward Rogue (and many other roguelikes and roguelites) by this point. You may have a great run, but suddenly you hit a snag, and immediately thereafter, your run's momentum changes dramatically. I hope I can turn this around in the next part.
