2We continue forward into the Stronghold of Woodcroft, now with the random Ranger named Wicking, with our only remaining goal to escape. That is easier said than done, so I end up blundering around aimlessly instead.
Seriously, this entire part showcases me blundering around in a massive dungeon while Dominus mocks me. It doesn't help when we have a magical locked door, a bunch of switches, and have a horrible sense of direction. We spend a lot of time just trying to get out of the area where we found the guy we were hunting for.
Meanwhile, we get to see some new monsters. We have Tony the Tiger, who wishes to maul me for his frosted flakes, and his gang of roving Sabertooth Tigers. We also somehow manage to spawn an angry and vicious beast known as a Wereboar that just happens to be invulnerable to everything in our possession. Dominus names it Scary Jerry.
We end up finding nowhere else to go, only to find other places to go, only to find out it was entirely a dead end that just wasted our time. Repeat over and over while I try to figure my way out of this hellhole. We make it to a locked door, I struggle to open it, then find myself facing a powerful magic thing that Ricky dies to in one hit. It is a baby dragon, also known as a Dragonling.
We also find a potential way out in the form of a house in the middle of a dungeon, which seems to have nothing of value to Ricky beyond being the way out of here. Cows live nearby. Good to know we were lost in someone's backyard. Knowing Ricky and my style of playing, that isn't surprising actually.
We eventually work our way out of some pit of water that is frustrating to get on. Standing over the diving board of the local pool, Ricky blunders aimlessly into another room and gets lost again. We are doomed.
