We reach a pretty memorable level for me from 1994, a level that features a starting area next to a Cyberdemon, though the placement and situation is a lot less evil than I remember. I probably tried shooting things and then struggled after I got the Cyberdemon alerted. We were all noobs once.

This level mainly features a battle around a Cyberdemon area with only one problem, the entire lack of ammo. Your goal in the level is mainly to obtain enough ammunition to kill the Cyberdemon, though this isn't easy since enemy placement is quite deadly here. This makes combat a bit more worthy than it generally is.

A big problem though is that the level's design involves lots of sprawling and chaotic corridors. While we get some good action, it also is a bit confusing and pretty unforgettable. The only reason I can remember this level is due to that area with the bridge and Cyberdemon, outside of that area this level just manages to be forgettable. Well, at least it has one landmark.

The bridge in the area with the Cyberdemon makes some sense, it locks out the Cyberdemon so you can get the blue key. With design choices such as this and the allure of the BFG you can't actually get, we have some decent design for combating the boss here. Especially since even with all the powerful guns, you will be resorting to your Shotgun, but your Shotgun should have more than enough ammo to take out the Cyberdemon.

While it features a good boss fight, the sprawling nature of the rest of the level makes it a bit uninteresting for most of the actual playthrough. Furthermore, there are a lot of secrets, but nearly half of them are inaccessible because of being on Teleporters. I did miss one in the video I could have claimed, apparently there is a secret doorway at the top of the staircase where I got my first Secret that would have led to a dead end computer room.

This level is torture for a completionist and won't really be that interesting due to having to spend most of it in boring areas, but the Cyberdemon fight is pretty well designed and perhaps some will appreciate the buildup. Overall, a pretty mediocre map with some decent design choices but some bad execution outside of that room.
