Deciding to continue my adventures in this game due to the curiosity of what terrible glitches might be found in the game, we start up after having just met with Lady Brisienna. The first order of business is to return to Daggerfall, but my recklessness of course results in being locked out of town. We proceed to have yet another pointless excursion which leads to us trying to climb the wooden gate and then find a massive number of people standing on a random hill.

We return to town, where I decide to partake in another quest to see if I can show off what we lost from prior recordings. While it wouldn't be the same dungeon, I was believing it would be remotely similar. Perhaps it would show us some Spiders. Though to get to the dungeon, we needed to wander across the entirety of the town and talk to some random guy.

The quest of the day is to go after some Ranger who didn't pay his debts by the name of Andyval Wicking. We are expected to enter the Stronghold of Woodcroft, fight Wicking but keep him alive, and then return with him within seven days. We set out with determination to actually succeed at a quest.

Of course, we teleport only to find that there is no nearby Stronghold to enter. We need to wander around and find it apparently. Therefore we start walking aimlessly across the wilderness. Vorknkx finds me rambling as we traverse aimlessly in this barren landscape filled with snow and trees.

Suddenly I see an orange light, due to it being night time, and I proceed to try to climb the walls unsuccessfully. I eventually decide just to waltz in the front door, where we find a few small rooms, including one with some spiders.

Suddenly we find ourselves confronted with a complex puzzle. We have two switches that open a doorway and a random chain hanging over the hole that activates slowfall for a period of time. We will need slowfall, the pit is deep enough to instantly kill us otherwise. The only problem is that the chain is no longer working, I quickly assume that it actually was a one-time use and that we wasted it by trying to figure out what exactly was going on.

Therefore, we reload the older save and try to find the Fortress again. Suddenly, I seem to have a lot of problems finding it. We come across a path of blue stuff, so we follow it, though it seems to lead us absolutely nowhere except further into the winter wonderland of Daggerfall. As Vorknkx says, this has become a walk in the snow simulator.

Eventually we somehow manage to blunder on the Fortress. We get slowfall to work, but the problem is that it deactivates too quickly, dropping us to our death before we have a chance to safely land. The chain also seems to be rather unstable, sometimes working and mostly not, resulting in us having to spam it a bunch until it eventually gives us slowfall and then hoping we can make it down the hole fast enough. It doesn't help that Ricky tries to climb every time we fall.

Vorknkx comes up with the bright idea that we should enter the hole from another side due to a random landing he saw. I start dropping in the hole, he realizes he said the wrong direction, only for me not to die.

Only one problem. The only thing around us is water, which turns out to be impossible to traverse due to our swimming skill being too low. I also lose Vorknkx due to having to stop the stream rather quickly.

I suddenly realize we can climb the walls, but doing such only results in us glitching outside the walls. We get to see most of Woodcroft, beyond of course how we are supposed to get to the rest of the dungeon. We keep dropping into holes of blackness while rats and sabertoothed tigers try to kill me. We also steal from a chest. Still, we cannot seem to find a way into the dungeon through this glitch, so I decide to replay everything.

We find the dungeon immediately in front of our face upon traveling once again, proving that this game is just trolling me. We find a hidden room, but the hidden room just has a pointless map of some other place in the massive world called Baalithiah Hollow.

Eventually we work our way down into the pit. Using the water underneath, we also manage to free ourselves from the wall, meaning we get free movement. Climbing the walls, we find an alcove, which I proceed to get the right direction for in order to climb to.

Somehow we have blundered across the guy we were looking for, meaning we just need to get out of here. The guy himself was quite tough, actually requiring us to hit him once before he yelled that he surrendered. Getting out of here is easier said than done, the way we came from is impossible to get out of, since the water appears to prohibit climbing. Of course, the problem is that I don't recall any other way down...
