We enter a level that has received a lot of terrible ratings and is viewed as pretty much one of the worst levels of 1994 (they keep saying there is worse, only to rate it as low as possible). That is pretty promising, especially when you mention the word "Laberinth". I am terrified of Laberinths, especially since the bad spelling implies that they are even worse than Labyrinths.

Of course, the actual level exceeds my expectations and turns out to be a totally generic and boring level. Don't get me wrong, it is no masterpiece, but it also doesn't have broken Secrets or force me to punch Barons. We don't even have any annoying pushwalls. That sadly puts this as better than most other levels we see. What a sad world we live in.

This is pretty much what I think of when I think of Wolfenstein 3d, beyond of course the frustrating pushers everywhere. We get long expanses of nothingness with some enemies in an otherwise barren area. The author is proud of his decorations, which generally consist of one thing placed against a wall or something. We also get some different textures from time to time while running down these long expanses.

If there is a problem with this level, it is the fact that it is entirely boring and offers very little to the player. It doesn't help that the rooms are indeed totally separate entities from each other, but the biggest problem is the expansiveness with few enemies to show for it. I think generally levels get too big for their own good, which explains why we get things like this and other such levels where you just run around in wide open expansive environments with little to look at or shoot.

While this level is far from the worst of 1994, it is actually one of the better as there is little to bash, there is also little to praise. Therefore it probably borders on mediocre, but I view it slightly less than such due to the general Wolfenstein emptiness vibe that I dislike.
