This is also my first playthrough through this game. Kindly avoid posting spoilers in the comments or solutions to puzzles either in this video or future ones so as not to spoil the experience for me or those that haven’t seen the game before.
Arid and the Companion have discovered a way that they can gain access to an ops uniform and said method is, not to mince words, terrible. The Companion’s efforts to seek a better way were immediately crushed by Arid who is now wholly focused on its rule and using whatever means available to reach Josephs and track the user. Whether there’s any distinction now between Arid and the virus is up to an AI specialist and that is not I.
Arid hopes that Josephs will not only be able to protect it from the virus but also point us in the right direction of the one who unleashed it in the first place but the data entries we’ve uncovered have spoken of things that point to a very troubling possibility. If what they hint at is true, Arid’s problems are only just beginning.
