You’d think that one of the spellcasters within the fortress would send a magical message to Yaga-Shura to inform him that his fortress is under attack but fortunately they do not. Perhaps they can’t believe that your small party – both in size and stature relative to them – can survive against fire giants, not recognising us as a powerful bhaalspawn. Their hubris will be their folly, for we’re more than able to take out the defenders within this place given enough time.

Us taking them out efficiently, however, is another matter entirely. While I am utilising my spellcasters a little more, I possess weapons that would better slay some of the enemies within this place. I don’t need these more effective tools to achieve victory, over-levelled for this are as I am, but any advantage is one I should be utilising. Rest assured, I shall endeavour to do so going forward, especially considering how dangerous the second floor of this place is.
