Let's Replay X-COM UFO Defence #25: An Echo of Terror
244We’ve had a lot of success recently, especially with shooting down their terror ship. The aliens aren’t going to give up so easily however and with a theoretically endless supply of vessels and aliens, they’ve little to lose in trying again shortly after the first failed attempt. That in itself isn’t bad provided you can continue to stop them from landing and can deal with the crashed UFO, which so far we haven’t been too bad at doing. I certainly prefer dealing with a crashed ship every few weeks to a mission full of civilians monthly, that’s for sure.
There’s worse danger than terror ships however. There are still two aliens species we’ve yet to encounter and they’re two of the most dangerous. End game foes, they’ll test our squad to their limits and further than that. I’m not as ready as I’d like to be for those two alien species but the game doesn’t care if I’m ready or not; it’ll throw them at me regardless and tell me to deal with it. Well, deal with it I shall, but I won’t be happy about it.
