So here we have Pokémon Blue Version and Pokémon Yellow version (or Pocket Monsters Ao and Pikachu, if we want to be specific) and I attempt to have a simple link battle without owning any Pokémon. I mean, what could go wrong?

Now, if you've spent any amount of time meticulously hitting Gen 1 with an assortment of hammers, you'll probably notice there's nothing here that's too unexpected. After all, we do get the typical game breakage that you'd typically find from battling without Pokémon, and the games desynchronise with each other, but I don't think starting a trade immediately after battle is normal. It's kind of like a pink slip battle, you lose the fight, you lose the Pokémon and vice versa. Y'know, maybe Game Freak should get in on this idea, I'm sure it'd make some battles more interesting.

Something new is the small translations that I've added, I figured it might be a bit awkward keeping track of what's actually happening when the game is in a different language, especially when the game is falling apart. Now I'm completely certain that I've mistranslated something, but I think I've covered the general gist of what is happening. I'll probably continue doing this for any Pokémon videos that I do that aren't in English, since it's not too much of a hassle to implement.

As expected, I'm using BGB for emulation and OBS to record the gameplay, nothing too fancy here. I should mention that, yes, I'm aware that I haven't finished the Trading Beta Pokémon series thing that I should've done already, I'm working on it.
