This is the longplay of Rambo III, a rail gun shooter and action game produced and distributed by Taito, released in 1989 for Arcade and later for consoles, each with a different gameplay style. This is the Arcade version..
The game follows the plot of the movie, where John Rambo needs to rescue Colonel Samuel Trautman, who has been captured by Soviet forces in Afghanistan. In the game, we have to control a crosshair to shoot everything that moves, from enemy soldiers to buildings and vehicles like jeeps, tanks and helicopters, which want to finish off our hero at all costs. A weapon with infinite ammo is used to overcome challenges. During the game we can find items and new weapons, which allow continuous and area shooting, in addition to healing items. In addition to the main weapon, it is possible to use the powerful bow and arrow to destroy enemies, in addition to causing much greater damage. The game is quite challenging, and defeating enemies while dodging bullets and hitting enemy projectiles in the air will require a lot of reflexes.
It's a game that captures the essence of the movie, all with Arcade-level standards from the 80s. It's possible to play solo or co-op; with player 1 controlling Rambo and player 2 playing with Colonel Trautman. The video was made in 2 players. Hope you like it.
