I think that this poll, which was done a few weeks ago, sheds a lot of light on the situation. When everyone was predicting the price of the PSVR2, most people did expect the headset to be expensive. But there were a sizable number of folks who were really expecting this VR headset to cost $400 or less. And you know all about the idea of the “vocal minority”, but I think there’s actually more to it than just that. Because everyone who expected a high price (call us realists or even pessimists), we’re also really disappointed. Our fears are now confirmed. Because of its price, the PSVR2 just will not be accessible to many of the people who would've loved one. And that's upsetting, even if you expected it.
