18Lumini's designer, Steven Honders saw the my video discussing his blog article about how Lumini was a critical success and a financial failure simultaneously. It was one of the more inspirational blog posts I've seen from a game designer about life after major failure.
He liked my video so much that he sent me an email to say thanks and gave me a copy of Lumini to play. I thought it only fitting that we live stream this amazing game for the world to see.
It's tough to see something this good not win on the financial front. But, at least no one can argue that Lumini is certainly a victory for gamers who want something different than the mass marketed vanilla efforts we've been seeing from the big boys.
