I can't stand tedious micromanagement in my video games. And unfortunately, Xenoblade Chronicles X requires it...Maybe even more than Xenoblade Chronicles did.

I'm getting to a point in my gaming career where I'm violently aware of my tastes and expectations when it comes to games. Given my disposition, I'm not really suited to loving a ton of games. Xenoblade Chronicles X is one of those games I feel I won't love, so I don't really want to play it.

Why spend time playing games you may only moderately like. Why spend 100 hours or even 10 hours on any activity that you don't truly love. In the future, I'm going to be all about games that inspire me and make me love the experience.

Oh if more games could be like Final Fantasy XII. Allowing the player to micromanage strategies and the regularly used tactics to manage themselves in battle.
