Some final incidental glitches from when I dared to try out Mafia III unpatched.

I really wanted to like this game. The setting & story are cool, but the gameplay is way too padded out and repetitive to be worth it. In the end, I never had the motivation to finish it...

0:00 - if you are holding a body and stand near a character you can interrogate, keep holding down 'circle' while trying to drop down the body. This starts interrogating the character with a body still on Clay's back.

This looks fairly silly, of course, since Clay's left arm is occupied by holding the body all this time. Afterwards the body loses its original angle and location too and becomes wrapped around Clay's neck like it was an eccentric piece of clothing. The body finally vanishes after the stronghold is occupied, and with that the glitch is over.

1:15 - another take.

1:35 - a body had fallen in a weird pose.

1:47 - I got the mysterious (possibly weather-related) lighting glitch right as a cutscene started. Since weather / lighting is static during cutscenes, the entire cutscene played out all washed out and way too bright.

3:06 - I did a successful stealth takedown of an enemy. Afterwards, I guess I kept tapping 'circle' and did another glitchy stealth takedown that targeted no one.

3:21 - while wrecking one of the construction yards, an enemy got stuck to a railing and kept running endlessly. He was still running while the crane was tumbling down. (You can see him briefly in the in-game cutscene - blink, and you'll miss it.)

4:02 - during the bath house "boss" mission, the water looked so inviting that I jumped in. This caused all the men inside the tub to unload mysteriously.

4:17 - I found an extremely fast yet very indecisive alarmed sentry. He zipped to the nearest phone, then started considering if he should make a call after all, dancing in place in a hesitant manner.

4:35 - a small menu glitch. If you enter menu and choose to "retry" or "restart" while you close the menu, the small menu pop-up will overlap with main game. Closing the pop-up at any point doesn't seem to really do much of anything, though.

In this clip I kept the pop-up active all the way to a game over screen in one of the early story missions. It looks pretty glitchy, but seems harmless.

5:29 - blooper: the weapons runner knocks out Clay. That's no way to treat a paying customer!
