When Maken X was released outside of Japan the localization work that was done to it was terrible and received very bad critique from almost all reviewers. The translation was strange and the voice overs were horrible. We also point this out in our PAL video.
So we wanted to show you how the voice overs in the Japanese version sounds like, so we made this video. Talk about service!
But it's not just the voice over that was changed in the PAL and US version. The developers also removed all Nazi references that was in the Japanese version. The references starts in the London level (quite early in the game) with the eagle atop swastika which was the formal symbol of the Nazi Party. From there on many of the enemies has swastikas on their clothing.
All this was removed for the western version.
