Many Fallout 4 Mods inspired by Fallout 3

In this episode of my bi-weekly mods showcase for Xbox we take a look at many Fallout 4 mods inspired by Fallout 3!

The Fallout 3 10 mm Pistol is one of my favorite video game weapons ever, so I present to you the mod “Capital Wasteland 10mm Pistol”! (https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4204405) This mod introduces the classic 10 mm Pistol as an alternative to the usual version normally found in Fallout 4.

Another classic weapon I love from Fallout 3 is the Assault Rifle, so with the Xbox mod “G3 Classic Assault Rifle” (https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/2128925) we can get it back. I love this mod as much as the previous one! I bought the G3 from the robot at the entrance of Goodneighbour.

As a last weapon I wanted something similar to the Chinese Assault Rifle, and the best Fallout 4 mod to do this without any trouble is “AKM - Assault Rifle” (https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4037784). It's not as similar to the source material as the previous 2 guns but I think it's still a very satisfying addition.

“Fallout The Capital Wasteland - NV Classic Metal Armor” (https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4114637) is a mod that aims to re-introduce the classic metal armor found in Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas inside Fallout 4! You can craft this armor at any chem station and also find it on Raiders starting from player level 15.

As much as I love the Power Armors of Fallout 4 I always found them a little too much limiting in terms of speed, if you feel the same way you can opt to use the Xbox mod “T-45x Experimental Light Power Armor (1k)” (https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4173102). I really really like the classic Fallout 3 stye of this set of armor, it's perfect!

This section has two mods that revert both Feral and sentient Ghouls into their Fallout 3 and New Vegas versions, the mods I'm referring to are “Fallout 3 NV Feral Ghouls Replacer” (https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4109884) and “Classic Ghouls Replacer” (https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4119549). You can see more about the Feral ghouls in the video in the top-right corner, or in description, where you will also find a video in which there are the sentient ghouls.

If you miss the company of Fawkes there is no time to waste! Go under Boston's Library and save him from the other Super Mutants with the Fallout 4 mod “Fawkes” (https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4133164)!

Similarly to the 10mm Pistol I showed at the beginning, the mod “DC Molerats” (https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4130842) adds the classic Molerats of Fallout 3 and New Vegas inside Fallout 4 without removing the native Molerats of Fallout 4.

And finally, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that you can use Fallout 3's “Pip-Boy 3000A” (https://bethesda.net/it/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4165462) inside Fallout 4 thanks to TheFriedturkey! As I said before we had a problem with the holotape animations, well, when you put one inside of this Pip-Boy it just zooms in, and frankly this Pip-Boy looks so good I'm willing to take it, over the holotape animation!
